My Lileigh Pad Nature Preschool at the Lafayette Reservoir - Spring 2026

At My Lileigh Pad Nature Preschool, we believe young children learn best through outdoor play, exploration, and meaningful connection with nature. Time spent outside sparks curiosity, nurtures creativity, and builds confidence as children discover the world around them.

Our independently run outdoor preschool program offers a unique, nature-rich learning experience set at the beautiful Lafayette Reservoir. Each day, children engage in hands-on art and sensory activities, interactive circle times filled with stories, songs, and movement, and plenty of imaginative play in the playground and open spaces!

We thoughtfully design our program to honor each child’s individual pace, interests, and personality—creating an environment where learning feels joyful, relaxed, and exciting.

Our monthly sessions run from September through April, providing a full school year of outdoor learning, growth, and unforgettable childhood memories!

BENEFITS OF NATURE PRESCHOOL

PLAY BASED LEARNING
We’re a play-based nature preschool where learning happens through hands-on, interactive experiences! Rather than traditional classrooms, we focus on exploration and play—whether it’s playing with our sensory stations, painting with flowers, nature walks, or creating art with sticks and leaves, we make every learning experience a fun one! Our curriculum balances outdoor adventure with key learning areas like shapes, letters, literacy, and math, all woven into fun, engaging activities that allow children to learn at their own pace while fostering creativity, problem-solving, and critical thinking.

FUN AND EDUCATIONAL CIRCLE TIME

Circle time is a key part of our program! It’s where we gather together to explore the weather, learn the days of the week, numbers, and the alphabet! Through lively songs, dance, stories, games, and interactive group discussions, it’s where children learn, connect, and spark their curiosity—all while having fun and discovering the world around them!

4:1 - STUDENT TO TEACHER RATIO

We keep our class sizes small ensuring your child gets all the attention they deserve! This close-knit setup means more one-on-one time, allowing our teachers to guide, encourage, and tailor learning to each child’s unique needs. Whether we’re exploring the outdoors or playing at our sensory table, this small ratio also helps us keep everyone safe while ensuring that your child feels supported, confident, and fully engaged at school!
