PLAY BASED LEARNING IN THE GREAT OUTDOORS!

At My Lileigh Pad Nature Preschool, we believe young children learn best through outdoor play, sensory exploration, and meaningful connection with nature. Rather than traditional classrooms, our independently run outdoor preschool program offers a unique, nature-rich learning experience at the beautiful Lafayette Reservoir. Whether it’s playing with our sensory stations, painting with flowers, going on nature walks, cutting fruits and vegetables, or creating art with sticks and leaves, we make every learning experience a fun one! Our curriculum balances outdoor adventure with key learning areas like shapes, letters, literacy, math, and science experiments all woven into fun, engaging activities that allow children to learn at their own pace while fostering creativity, problem-solving, and critical thinking.

FUN AND EDUCATIONAL CIRCLE TIME

Circle time is one of the most exciting parts of our day! It’s when we gather together for a fun-filled adventure of learning and laughter. Our circle is a place where friendships grow where we focus on teaching social and emotional skills. We practice name recognition, take turns, share, and learn how to be kind and caring friends. Through dancing, storytelling, games, and group chats, every child gets a chance to shine and be heard!

We also explore the ever-changing weather at the Lafayette Reservoir—sunshine, clouds, wind, or rain—there’s always something new to discover! We sing songs about the days of the week, count together, and bring the alphabet to life with movement and play along with learning about the native plants and animals here at the Lafayette Reservoir!

4:1 - STUDENT TO TEACHER RATIO

With a 4:1 student-to-teacher ratio and a maximum of 16 children, teachers can truly get to know each child—creating a safe space with more one-on-one time, supporting their growth, encouraging their interests, and helping them build confidence. This close-knit setting also plays an important role in safety, especially in our outdoor environment. With attentive supervision and clear boundaries, children are free to explore, play, and learn while feeling secure and supported.

Our monthly sessions run from September through May, providing a full school year of outdoor learning, growth, and unforgettable childhood memories!

Potty training NOT required
Monday thru Thursday
9:30am - 1pm

4 days a week: $1050.00 per month
3 days a week: $800.00 per month
2 days a week: $585 per month
1 day a week: $300 per month *recommended only for children attending another school.

Additional $50 monthly supply fee are due via cash or Zelle due at the beginning of each month or can be paid in full for the year.
