what we’re all about !

At My Lileigh Pad, we know that the best way for kids to grow is through outdoor play and adventure! Nature is our classroom, and the possibilities are endless. Outdoor fun boosts physical health, reduces stress, sparks creativity, and helps little ones connect with the world around them.

Our outdoor program mixes nature-filled exploration with exciting creative activities like art projects, imaginative play, nature walks, creek exploration, and so much more! Circle time is a blast with stories, songs, dance, games, and interactive fun—all set against the beautiful backdrop of Markham Nature Park. Plus, every child is unique, so we make sure our activities fit their pace and personality! Thanks to our partnership with the City of Concord, we’re able to offer this one-of-a-kind experience to your child!

Our preschool program runs monthly from September to April, so your child will have a school year full of exciting adventures and enriching moments to remember!

BENEFITS OF NATURE PRESCHOOL

PLAY BASED LEARNING
We’re a play-based nature preschool where learning happens through hands-on, interactive experiences! Rather than traditional classrooms, we focus on exploration and play—whether it’s playing with our mud kitchens, painting with flowers, climbing trees, balancing on logs, or playing in the creek, we make every learning experience a fun one! Our curriculum balances outdoor adventure with key learning areas like shapes, letters, literacy, and math, all woven into fun, engaging activities that allow children to learn at their own pace while fostering creativity, problem-solving, and critical thinking.

FUN AND EDUCATIONAL CIRCLE TIME

Circle time is a key part of our program! It’s where we gather under a gazebo together to explore the weather, learn the days of the week, numbers, and the alphabet! Through lively songs, dance, stories, games, and interactive group discussions, it’s where children learn, connect, and spark their curiosity—all while having fun and discovering the world around them!

4:1 - STUDENT TO TEACHER RATIO

We keep our class sizes small ensuring your child gets all the attention they deserve! This close-knit setup means more one-on-one time, allowing our teachers to guide, encourage, and tailor learning to each child’s unique needs. Whether we’re exploring the outdoors or splashing in the creek, this small ratio also helps us keep everyone safe while ensuring that your child feels supported, confident, and fully engaged at school!

    FOUNDER & LEAD TEACHER

When I set out to create a preschool program, I wanted to bring the things I love about early childhood education into the great outdoors. After discovering Markham Nature Park, I knew I had found the perfect place to build our ideal program. The park’s beautiful gardens, small trails, and peaceful creek offer a unique, natural setting where children can explore and grow.
